If you’re quarantining with your mom, these are all things you can give to your mom at home remaining safely distanced. Give your mom something to show much you appreciate her!

Cleaning Shared Spaces

Give your mom a break by cleaning the shared spaces (living room, kitchen, bathroom, den, playroom, backyard) in the home with your siblings or your dad! I’m sure she’ll feel appreciated when she sees the whole house sparkling clean when she wakes up!

Cooking

Your mom is going to be happy with anything you get on the plate to her; she might even be proud! I’ll give you a quick recipe that I love to make when I’m lazy. She’s not going to even notice it’s not al dente!

1. buy boxed pasta and bottled sauce

2. cook pasta to directions on the box

3. save pasta water, dump rest of water,

4. add small amount of pasta water to pasta sauce with pasta.

5. done in 45 minutes max!

Planning a Day together

Sometimes all your mom wants is some ATTENTION!!!! Remind us that all of us are human and could use some human connection sometimes. Remember that even doing the same things together feel like you’re bonding and sharing time together.

1. Start a tv show/watch a movie together

2. Play board games

3. Cook together

4. Take a walk/hike together

5. Do her favorite things together (i.e. her knitting, you in the same room)

6. Craft/make something together

7. Learn a skill together!
